Cathedral Avenue is named for the cathedrals of our community. The first Catholic Church became a cathedral when Bishop Ovide Charlebois was made bishop around 1910. The second cathedral, the Lady of Our Sacred Heart Cathedral, was built in 1922 and is the current Roman Catholic Cathedral in The Pas.
