Wilf Cudmore was a World War II veteran who had a long career at the Canadian National Railway with the engineering department and also as a semi-tractor operator delivering freight and mail between The Pas and Flin Flon. He was also very dedicated to various community organizations and in 1974 he received the title ‘Mr. Trappers’ Festival’ for his exemplary service with the Northern Manitoba Trappers’ Festival. Wilf Cudmore was also a Manitoba Golden Boy recipient for 1980. Was President of Chamber of Commerce and also Grand Exalted Ruler in Elks.
