Opened in 2005, our children’s Discovery Centre is the only room in the Museum where children can touch everything! In this hands-on learning and fun centre, children can explore natural history items and activities in a boreal forest setting. This room contains a boreal forest mural activity wall, a canoe station complete with voyageur sternsman, a cozy reading tent with library of nature books, and an assortment of animal and other costumes for children to wear.
