This gnarled and bent tree is made from a walrus tusk and stands on a wood base. This artefact was collected by Sam Waller. It was made by an Inuit man living beyond the tree limits in Baffin Island and represents his conception of a tree in a windswept area. Each branch is fitted in separately.
