Porcelain mass-produced power insulators are of the old-fashioned screw-on type. This insulator is brown porcelain.
On the attached tags is the message: ”FROM LINE BUILT BETWEEN ROSENFELD & GRETNA 1919 FROM HAROLD FEHR AUGUST 1973″. It is faded around the edges of its neck, but this seems due to the manufacturing process.
